The Checklist: The Christmas Plan
A quick look at the
“how” and “why”
of positivity
from the resources above.
How | Why |
---|---|
Set realistic expectations | This reduces pressure and prevents feelings of failure or disappointment. |
Plan and prioritize | Having a clear roadmap decreases overwhelm and allows for flexibility. |
Manage finances wisely | Financial boundaries protect you from post-holiday stress and regret. |
Say no when needed | Saying no conserves your energy for what truly matters to you. |
The Pause Portal: Manaton Rocks (Paths)
There's a lot of talk about "paths"...
But much of what makes a path great -
is not on the path.
Take this path up to Manaton Rocks (Devon, UK)
The trees are full of arches blown by the prevailing moor wind.
The ground is full of late bluebells that have no idea they're late.
The air is full of birdsong blackbirds, song thrushes and the occasional wood pigeon.
Without these things the path would just be a silent line of packed earth where nothing grows.
Not where you want to go.
Paths are tools under our feet but the real journey is happening all around us.
Take a breath.
Take a step "into the day" and look around.
What will your senses marvel at today?
Breathe out.
Try it and see what difference it makes
