The Question: How do we manage depression?

Depression can make us feel as if we are stuck.

Here are 4 small ways to feel less stuck.

The Pause Portal: River Heavy (Leap)

Where does your energy come from?

Food?

Company?

Sunlight?

Exercise?

The truth is that sometimes

it’s replicable

and sometimes

it’s spontaneous.

Consider the River Meavy

splitting here at Norsworthy Bridge, Devon, UK.

The flow is energetic and constant

replicated moment by moment

but never 100% identical.

The spray leaps and bounds

spontaneous bursts of energy

pushing the water from it’s course

in an ever-changing display.

Take the energy away from this scene?

The whole thing turns into a swamp.

Today

let make plans

for the replicable energy

and make space

for the spontaneous energy.

Your mental health will thank you.

Try it and see what difference it makes.
