The Question: How do we manage anxiety?

Anxiety can make us feel as if we are in a tight spot.

Here are 4 small ways to feel released from it.

(fwd is aiming to have all video content accompanied with a descriptive transcript so that we can benefit from the wisdom and character of all who engage. The descriptive transcript can be found under the video in Youtube.)

The Pause Portal: Teign Valley (Regardless)

What are your criteria?

Your criteria for getting going?

Your criteria for keeping going?

Do the stars have to align?

Do all the ducks need to be in a row?

Do all the i's need dotting and the t's need crossing?

If things weren't perfect

would you do it regardless?

Nature is a great believer

in doing it regardless.

Water got to flow.

Flowers got to grow.

There will be dry spells

which slow the stream

to a trickle.

There will be cold spells

which spot the flowers with brown.

But the water will flow regardless

and the flowers will grow regardless.

Regardless of perfection.

Regardless of who's looking.

Do your ideas of what matters

get in the way of

what matters?

Is there something you need to do

regardless?

Let this moment in the Teign Valley (Devon, UK)

- among the streams and the wild garlic -

bring those plans to mind

that need to happen

regardless.

Your mental health will thank you.

Try it and see what difference it makes.
