The Question: Do I need to go on medication?

Psychiatric medication can throw up all sorts of questions and big feelings for us..

This is a short reflection on the topic and not a comprehensive toolkit.

There are links to comprehensive resources in the “One Click Wonder”.

Any medication should be discussed and reviewed by your GP or lead clinician.

(fwd is aiming to have all video content accompanied with a descriptive transcript so that we can benefit from the wisdom and character of all who engage. The descriptive transcript can be found under the video in Youtube.)

Pause Portal: Avon River (Fire from Water)

Walk by the River Avon
running down from the mires on Dartmoor,
and you are playing with fire.

At least you would have been in the early 1800s.

Peat was brought down from the wetlands on the moor
and extracted from it was a very volatile oil - naphtha.
Fire from water.
Unexpected fuel production.
The unexpected from the unpromising.

Is there something we need to look at again?
Something that seems unpromising?
Will something unexpectedly worthwhile show up?
Take a breath.
Take 5 minutes to let the unpromising situation roll around your head.
Don't form or force it. Let it flow, like the river.
The unexpected will pool
and the unpromising will flow on.

Try it and see what difference it makes.
